I was born near Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany. From there my British-German family moved to the Göttingen region, Lower Saxony, where I grew up.
After graduating from University in various subjects, I initially worked in the field of Transport for about three years. During this time, I moved from London to Lake Constance, Switzerland, where I worked for an industry leader.
Discovering my skills in fine art (e.g. by copying paintings by the old masters I saw in museums), I quit my career, undertook an apprenticeship in Scenic Art (IHK
Berlin 2013) and subsequently worked for several theatres for more than 10 years. In 2023, I also gained the instructor certificate (AEVO) from the IHK Hannover.
With having taken private tuition in fine art from the beginning (often on a one-to-one basis) by outstanding artists and university lecturers such as Christine Reinckens or Anne Brömme, I now have the privilege to pass on this knowledge and my experience to my own students.
As an artist, I am currently focusing on nature (plants or landscapes, e.g.), adding abstract elements, which are inspired by outside (e.g. effects of water reflections) and inside experiences.
I have taken part in various art events such as the Art and Monument Exhibition Denkmalkunst - Kunstdenkmal in September 2012 in Hann. Münden. Although I had offers to exhibit in prestigious galleries such as Villa Artista, Hannover, I focused on my professional career as a Scenic Artist.
In collaborating with artist friends from various fields, this platform will provide an opportunity to showcase our art and offer events in an ever more challenging cultural environment: I am glad to make a contribution in Fine Art.
